Marvelous Tales of Swords and Sorcery is a complete high fantasy Forged in the Dark game that incorporates downtime rules from John Harper's Deep Cuts expansion and modifications from the Charge RPG. 

In Marvelous Tales of Swords and Sorcery you can create a character from one of 6 heritages and 12 playbooks or mix and match from playbooks to build something unique.

Active Development

Marvelous Tales of Swords and Sorcery is in active development. The text, rules, and character options are fully complete. A world and regional map, flavor, and 13 factions are provided for the region of Esharra. However, the setting is still a work in progress. Here are my development priorities.

1. A campaign starting situation.
2. A starter city - Baku Silas (Weeping Rock) -  An important trading city on the edge of a great desert.
3. Additional playbooks from other regions, like Jutanni Blood Witches and Val-Tivan Storm Callers
4. Rumors and Legends
5. A full setting guide centered on the Empire of Esharra
