Adrenaline Operations Deck

The Adrenaline Operations Deck is a GM aid that can be used during play to inspire improvisation or during preparation to create scores & conspiracies. The deck can also be used to play solitaire when your players take too long to make a decision, or poker if there is time left after a TPK.

The Operations Deck is system neutral, but it is designed with Adrenaline: Near Future, Forged in the Dark RPG in mind.

Each 'number' card includes an obstacle, chase complication, NPC occupation, location, event, and object. Each 'face' card includes a major NPC archetype, 2 room types, a faction type, and a hacking complication.

The cards can be used in a variety of ways. 

• As a GM aid during play -- grab a hand of number cards. Need an obstacle or NPC? use a card to help you improvise. The characters head inside to cause mayhem? Draw face cards to improv building rooms and a number card for the obstacle.
• To prep -- not sure what to do? Grab a few number cards to select a person, place, and thing (or event) -- mix and match to create a mission.
• To create a conspiracy -- Use a face cards to inspire the 'boss' behind the scenes and interested factions. Pick a couple of the characters' friends and a rival from the playbooks. Grab some numbered cards to identify a MacGuffin, a few NPCs and locations. A friend / contact wants the characters to find the MacGuffin, the rival wants it too. Why? How are the factions arrayed? Who is the mastermind behind the scenes? Let the conspiracy play out over a few sessions.
• Safety Tools - the deck includes 4 X-Cards.
• To play poker. Yup - 4 suits, 2-10 numbered cards, J,Q,K,A face cards. Two of the X-Cards can be used as Jokers. Remember, never gamble with a trickster.
