Marvelous Tales of Swords & Sorcery -- Short Stories

Marvelous Tales of Swords and Sorcery is a role-playing game where players take on the roles of adventurers in a fantastical world filled with magic, mystery, and danger. The Short Stories version contains abbreviated rules perfect for one-shots and short campaigns.

You can play one of eight playbooks:

• Warrior
• Hunter
• Storyteller (with magic tales)
• Thief
• Exorcist
• Seer
• Wizard
• Spirit Caller

Each playbook has two talents (special abilities) to get you started, and rules to create your own as your character advances.

Marvelous Tales of Swords & Sorcery uses the light and fast Dash rules, which draws from the Charge RPG and the Forged in the Dark SRD.

This is the final rules-lite version, but more content may be added in the future. The full Marvelous Tales of Swords & Sorcery RPG is currently in development for release in early 2025.
